Designed specifically for current and aspiring fraternity/sorority department leaders, this 2-day intensive training experience helps professionals develop their executive leadership abilities and learn how to organize a department.
EXCEL PREPARES YOU TO:
Identify and map the core components of a university fraternity/sorority department
Gain technical knowledge in:
Identifying and tracking department objectives,
Generating and allocating resources,
Developing operational systems, and
Structuring and supervising staff
Use a strategic management framework to align each component of the department with institutional characteristics and objectives
Develop executive leadership skills for directing a department
SCHEDULE
Monday, July 29, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Day one introduces a map of core department components and delivers foundational knowledge on each component.
Tuesday, July 30, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Day two guides participants in synthesizing core components into a collective strategy and developing executive leadership skills and attitudes necessary for implementing lessons learned.
