RISE Partnerships is thrilled to announce that Brittany Barnes Deeg has been promoted to Vice President for Learning. In this new role, Brittany provides strategic direction and leads nine team members in delivering RISE’s educational programs and initiatives.
Brittany steps into this role with extensive experience in determining tailored solutions to help individuals learn how to successfully advise, lead, and facilitate meaningful and effective joining processes. Award-winning learning solutions span physical experiences, virtual learning, and hybrid/blended approaches. Grounded in theory and research, these programs help audiences learn by doing.
Prior to this role, Brittany was the Director of Curriculum and Training for RISE Partnerships.
"The creation of the Vice President for Learning role opens up a new way of thinking about how to support our clients AND team members to do their best work,” said Brittany Barnes Deeg. “I'm excited to move beyond curriculum and training to focus on all the ways folks learn within a fraternity, sorority, and/or university setting. There is uncertainty about how to best do that, but I think that's the most exciting part about this shift for me."
“This new position allows the RISE team - and all of our clients - to benefit from Brittany’s expertise in this area,” said Dan Wrona, CEO of RISE Partnerships. “This new position broadens Brittany’s focus, sharing with us best practices and strategic direction across all possible learning solutions.”
Brittany joined the RISE team full-time in 2018. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Director of Fraternity, Sorority, and Cooperative Life at Purdue University, where she was responsible for spearheading the award-winning RESPECT initiative. In 2017, Brittany was recognized with the Gayle Webb New Professional Award from the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors.
